More space for research.

The extension for the non-profit research facility, GFaI, in Berlin leaves an impression with its clear design language. It extends over four floors. The façade connects the buildings in terms of materiality and proportions, and at the same time accentuates the extension. On an area of around 2,000 square meters, new laboratory and hall space, offices as well as consulting and training rooms have been created. A large training room can be customized as needed with a variable partition wall and can also be rented by external parties. In addition, a modern break room in a fresh design was created for the employees, which, with a lounge and foosball table, invites them to linger. A roof terrace rounds off the offerings. The inner courtyard shines once again, with lush green areas and comfortable sidewalks.
