The new ARBACHPARK district is currently being developed in Pfullingen on a site covering around eight hectares. In the first phase of construction, Vollack realized four five-story residential buildings with approximately 8,400 square meters of living space. Geothermal Energy Concept.
The development’s energy concept uses geothermal energy for both heating and cooling. A central energy plant in the basement supplies all four residential buildings. To achieve this, geothermal probes were installed at depths of up to 200 meters (656 feet). One of the key advantages over other energy sources is its reliable availability, independent of weather conditions or time of day. Together with the photovoltaic systems installed on the rooftops, the energy concept relies on renewable energy sources.
