Medical Excellence, Architecturally Attractive.
Interdisciplinary competence center.
Interdisciplinary teams make medicos.AufSchalke a unique competence center. With an area of around 5,000 square meters, the new House 2 of Europe's largest outpatient health center borders directly on the Schalker club grounds.
Competence on 5,000 square meters.
The clearly structured, two-winged building with special lines of sight houses an outpatient rehab center, an institute for sports medicine, an orthopedic private practice, a radiology department and a café. An underground parking garage provides ample space. A highlight is the more than six-meter-high sports and exercise hall with sprint track.
Generous extension building on 2,000 square meters.
A 2,000-square-meter extension had already been realized in 2016, comprising occupational therapy, a further area for medical training therapy, psychosomatic rehab, private physiotherapy practice and podiatry, as well as seminar areas for training and administration. It continues the existing building in a U-shape. To the north, its wings enclose a courtyard that opens onto the landscape around the former park stadium. The exterior facades take up the design of the existing building and yet stand out with different facade materials. Spacious therapy rooms on the front sides unfold their effect through facade openings spanning several stories.
medicos.AufSchalke is already a beacon of healthcare in Germany. The extension impressively underlines this claim.
