For SONOTEC, a leading specialist in ultrasonic measurement technology products and solutions, Vollack realized a tailored expansion of its corporate site. The new building represents an important step in supporting the continued development of the successful family-owned company in Halle (Saale). Across three floors, production and office space with a gross floor area of approximately 4,300 square meters provide excellent working conditions for around 130 employees.
Open-minded and innovative architecture.
The architecture of the building, which offers views into the production areas from the outside, reflects the successful combination of the family business’s strong tradition and the open-minded character of an innovative technology company.
Smart technology for production and building operations.
Vollack’s Saxony-based specialist team developed a building solution for SONOTEC that integrates the requirements of production and building operations into one cohesive concept. A photovoltaic system and a combined heat and power plant contribute to the building’s energy supply. The technical concept is further complemented by combined heat and power generation as well as an air-to-water heat pump for heating and cooling. An innovative building management system controls and coordinates the building’s technical systems.
