The new facility represented the largest investment in the 80-year history of Theegarten-Pactec. The project was realized in three construction phases, with the existing buildings being removed step by step. During the first phase, the office building and the first section of the production and assembly areas were completed without disrupting ongoing operations.
By mid-2017, the second half of the production and assembly facilities had been completed. The 5,500 square meters of office space were realized with a high-quality building envelope certified to the KfW energy efficiency standard.

The office areas accommodate research and development, engineering, customer service, and sales functions. A cafeteria with an outdoor terrace in the courtyard provides a place for employees to meet and relax.
The production hall houses machining and paint operations. Adjacent to it are production-support offices featuring gallery spaces. In addition, a dedicated assembly hall and warehouse were constructed. The crane-served assembly halls cover a total area of 15,500 square meters and are equipped with radiant ceiling panels supplied by district heating as well as a ventilation system.
The new facility is a fundamental prerequisite for Theegarten-Pactec to continue building high-tech machinery for our customers and to secure long-term growth in the years ahead.“
