Living and experiencing naturalness sustainably.
Revitalization of the existing building stock.
In order to create an environment conducive to creativity for employees, a comprehensive revitalization of the existing building stock was designed for VAUDE in Tettnang. Brand impact and sustainability criteria played an important role.
Silver sustainability certification.
The site development receives silver DGNB sustainability certification for 9,300 square meters of inspiring, future-proof office workspace, showroom and organic company restaurant with a unique character.
GreenTec Award for sustainable conversion.
VAUDE was pleased to receive one of many awards highlighting the company's environmental focus. The GreenTec Award 2016 was presented at a gala in Munich's ICM.
Sustainability as a cornerstone of the corporate philosophy.
The bright office world offers open and at the same time differentiated workplace structures. The architecture impressively reflects naturalness and innovation and thus symbolizes the brand. Product development, procurement, returns, service, logistics and the new showroom are now located in a former warehouse. It is no longer recognizable. The fact that it was revitalized and not newly built is in line with the commitment of the particularly environmentally oriented family company to sustainability as a cornerstone of its corporate philosophy.
A few days after completion the employees had already got all areas fully operational. The fact that they were involved at early stage paid off, because the new premises are perfectly designed to suit the employees’ requirements. That facilitates smooth working and good teamwork. More generally, we also benefit from shorter distances and lower energy costs.”
