Living and Experiencing
Nature.
Revitalization of the Existing Buildings.
To create a workplace environment that encourages creativity, a comprehensive revitalization of VAUDE's existing buildings in Tettnang was developed. Brand identity and building quality requirements played a central role throughout the project.
DGNB Silver Certification.
The site development received DGNB Silver certification. Approximately 9,300 square meters of workplace environments, showroom space, and an employee restaurant were created as part of a design concept aligned with the company's brand identity.
GreenTec Award for the Redevelopment.
VAUDE Sport received one of several awards for the project. The GreenTec Award 2016 was presented during a gala ceremony at Munich's ICM.
Architecture Reflecting the Brand.
The bright workplace environment combines open layouts with differentiated work settings. The architecture translates key brand values into the design of the working environment. Product development, procurement, returns, service, logistics, and the new showroom are now housed within a former warehouse that has been extensively revitalized.
The decision to revitalize the existing building rather than construct a new one aligns with VAUDE's corporate strategy. At the same time, the project created a workplace environment that brings together a wide range of functions within a single location.
Just a few days after completion, all areas were already fully occupied and in use by our employees. Involving them at an early stage proved worthwhile, as the new spaces are perfectly tailored to their needs. This enables smooth workflows and strong teamwork. Overall, we also benefit from shorter travel distances and lower energy costs.”
