Positioned for the future.
Alex Cosmetic sells skincare cosmetics to professional beauty retailers and is positioning itself for the future with its new building. Vollack planned and realized an office and logistics building for the company, which houses production and social areas as well as administration, training and treatment rooms. The three-storey working environment covers an area of around 950 square meters. Attached to this is a logistics hall of around 1,000 square meters for order picking and storage.
Acting Responsibly.
The new building reflects the company’s guiding principles. “Power of Nature” is how Alex Cosmetic describes its philosophy. This mindset was also reflected in Vollack’s design concept, which centered on a future-ready building solution and energy-optimized operations. An air-to-water heat pump provides heating throughout the building via underfloor heating, eliminating the need for fossil fuels altogether. A rooftop photovoltaic system generates electricity from solar energy.
Future-Ready Building.
The building meets the requirements of the EG40EE energy efficiency standard. Among other things, a separate rainwater cistern collects water for the plants.
