A strong signal for the location and the region.
With the new Customer Development Center, project name CDC'25, Fette Compacting, international market leader in the area of tablet presses in the pharmaceutical industry, is setting an example. The new building strengthens the company's position in international competition and creates new opportunities for cooperation with research institutes, universities and partner companies.
In a four-storey extension with a gross floor area of 3,500 square meters, the innovation center with charisma creates space for research and development, partnership-based cooperation with the pharmaceutical industry and positions our customer as an attractive employer in the region. The new building will house advanced laboratory and clean room areas that will enable production-related formulation and process development under the conditions of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
A high-tech customer center and modern working environments for interdisciplinary teams will complement the space. The new building will be adjacent to the head end of the current customer center.
Heating and cooling is provided by 4 air-to-water heat pumps connected in cascades. A booster heat pump is used to supply the absorbers and hot water. The air-to-water heat pumps are reversible so that cold water can be generated if required. The heat pumps can also be used in a 4-pipe system. In this way, the building can be completely self-sufficient and does not require a public gas or district heating supply.
