The new corporate headquarters of LEVACO Chemicals, a leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals and additives such as dispersants, emulsifiers, wetting agents, defoamers, flocculants, and fixing agents, was tailor-made by Vollack and realized for the client. The facility offers a gross floor area of approximately 1,700 square meters.
A building solution designed for creativity and innovation.
The new facility consists of a two-story administration building with inspiring office environments and a single-story chemical development laboratory. The modern, bright atmosphere, combined with inviting conference spaces, encourages creativity, communication, and teamwork. In the development laboratories, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, ideas are transformed into innovative product solutions. The two buildings are connected by a ground-level corridor.
High quality standards.
A key focus of the building design was the development of an energy-optimized building concept. The new facility was therefore constructed to the Efficiency House 40 EE standard and requires more than 60 percent less energy than currently required by legislation. A photovoltaic system installed on the roof of the laboratory building complements the overall energy concept.
