Confectionery Production on a Larger Scale.
Room for Growth.
The new 12,200-square-meter facility of confectionery manufacturer Weseke Dragees is located just 500 meters from the company's former site. Production and warehouse areas account for the majority of the space and are directly connected to the single-story administration building, which houses offices, break rooms, changing facilities, and a factory outlet.
The new production facility provides room for future growth. One of its defining features is the approximately 30-meter span of the roof structure, creating a largely column-free production area.
Dragée Production in a Three-Shift Operation.
At the new facility, approximately 60 employees, supported by seasonal staff, will be able to produce up to 5,000 tons of dragée products per year in a three-shift operation. As production volumes continue to grow, additional jobs are expected to be created in the future.
Our former facility no longer met our requirements. The new building provides the foundation for expanding our production while at the same time optimizing operational processes.“
