Drive-through window, Backhaus Café with a terrace, glass-walled bakery, seminar room — spanning more than 5,500 square meters, Backhaus Heislitz in Kriftel offers a complete baking experience.

Transparent production.

The glass-walled bakery offers a clear view of the artisanal work, which is supported by state-of-the-art technology. Covering an area of over 1,000 square meters, the facility efficiently produces high-quality baked goods and pastries for 11 stores in the Main-Taunus district.

Energy-efficient and sustainable.

Waste heat from production is collected in a large heat storage tank. A combined heat and power plant provides additional heat and electricity. This “waste product” energy, combined with the electricity generated on-site, is now used to produce cooling. The supply of heat and cooling is sufficient to power the bistro and office areas.

With this new building, we are carrying on our bakery into its sixth generation and creating an attractive work environment — one that will serve us well into the future.
