The new five-story media campus of Lichthaus in Berlin Adlershof is impressive throughout. Built on the site of the former JOFA Studios, which were the largest film studios in the world in the 1920s, the campus was conceived as an open meeting place for media professionals.
The building’s architecture reinforces the character of the ensemble. The façade articulation and color scheme reference the interplay of light and shadow, black and white.
Studio and film technology on a new level.
Thanks to its concept and architectural design, the new building creates an integrated environment for studio operations, film production, administration, and technical services. It also features the tallest film equipment warehouse in Germany.
The building accommodates a wide range of functions, including office and administrative space, television and film production facilities, as well as technical and support areas.
It all started with Null® Phase .
This day ranks among the ten best days of my life, and just one year after the foundation stone was laid, I was riding the elevator up to my new office. Amazing! This new Lichthaus gives our success fresh momentum, and we are already working on the next chapter of our dream – naturally together with Vollack!
